Choices, oh the damn choices.

After reviewing my list I found more and more things to change, but which are better and which changes work better with what changes is still torturing me.

The new list is as follow:

The first main alteration to the list was dropping it to three blobs, freeing up loads of points which could then be spent on the remaining three platoons.

My first port of call was to ditch the autocannons for missile launchers, although I'm still musing over swapping these to lascannons purely for the high strength low AP shots at range which will hopefully help me thin light vehicles and terminator armies better, as well as instant death to paladins or other multi wound T4.

Next up I beefed the squads from 3x infantry squads to 4 giving me more soaking wounds for the squads more essential elements and also a 4th sergeant with MB and a PW. 15 PW attacks if charged or 20 on the charge should hopefully net me 2 to 3 dead marines respectively.

In my outflanking blob I added a second Commissar with PW for just in case issues, mainly to stop jaws or other such abilities from sniping them out and then making the entire blob fold and flee. The extra power weapon is purely a bonus.

Although my other option is to upgrade all the heavy weapons to lascannons and give krak grenades to the CCS. All for the cost of 1 commissar from the outflanking blob. Maybe it’s worth it to add 9 higher Strength shots and 5 krak grenade attacks over 3 power weapon hits.
