Shadow Era Class Decks, whats inside human edition

With the physical cards coming out soon I've been so over excited with the decks option in their shop for purchase and picked one up giving me a total of 10 decks, each with 60 cards inside.

These decks are made up of the following mix of the cards:

2 Heroes
20 Allies (14 common, 6 uncommon)
18 Class Abilities (16 common, 2 uncommon)
10 Faction Abilities (common)
8 Neutral Abilities (common)
1 Weapon (rare)
1 Armour (rare)

So each deck gives us two heroes of the same class meaning you can make two totally different decks right off the bat (Due to the hero's special ability). Add in the remaining 58 cards and you should have no problem making a bare min 40 card deck (Seems to be the most useful of some deck types for giving less cards so you get the cards you need with less fuss). 20 allies is more than enough to pick through to find the good ones, and the same goes for the faction abilities.

So what does each of the decks give us card wise? Well below is a break down thanks to the creator of Wulven Studios:

So these are the human side decks. All of which come as a decent starting point for getting into the game in its physical form... they all come with enough cards to set you up for a variety of deck types and as mentioned are perfect jumping point to build your collections from.

I'm dying to see the foil cards which Wulven produced (Not yet released also) and get them into my deck along with all the other first run foil cards, all of which look great!!

Next post I'll do the Shadow side decks. Check out the Wulven Studios physical card purchase options. Seriously good value for TCG's (under £2 a booster pack including 15 randomized cards in a foil wrap: 10 common, 3 uncommon, 1 rare or epic, and 1 hero... seriously good value and the artwork on the packs and cards look awesome!) especially when you work out a booster box alone is only $40 and comes with 24 packs (£1.67 rounded up a packet).

  1. I must admit I'm actually quite interested in this, as me and my son still play MTG, at home and this looks like something I might try.

As it's looks pretty interesting, and I think my hobby life need something like this. Cheap cost-effective and free to start.

So what do you recommend? As my son is 10 years old? Is it easy to pick up?

  2. Its straight forward enough, alot like the Warcraft TCG, you make resources sacrifing cards, then each turn use the resources to deploy allies, items or abilities and try to take down thenopposing hero. Took me about 10 games to fully understand the game, bow its learning the cards and what counters what.

Recommend it for you and the son Tom.
